Party Time!

To celebrate the receding flood waters and the opening of the shiny new kitchen, Elgin Crescent enjoyed an evening of nibbles and nik-naks courtesy of Mr Christian's. It was brilliant to see so many friendly faces welcoming back the deli and we hope to see you all again soon.

"Lovely, lovely, lovely! & how nice of you to provide a little treat like that."

Packed to the Rafters

Talk about stocking up for Christmas, Mr Christian's is fit to burst, so much so that the yumminess is spilling out of the door and onto the stall outside! In the week before Christmas the bread stand will be straining under the weight of a myriad of festive fayre. Enjoy traditional sweets such as Panettone and Stollen or pick up a crafty mince pie to nibble on your way to work. Stylish savouries are on sale too with foie gras, caviar and salmon sides amongst the usual salads and sandwiches. If you're still franticly searching for gift ideas then look no further as Mr Christian's has quite a selection of unusual foodie presents as well as useful antipasto sets and other attractive offerings.

Rebuilding the Ark!

Flash floods, squally showers and good old fashioned ran battered the country this so-called summer and poor Mr Christian's didn't quite fair as well as some. After a particularly rainy Friday in July the defenses broke and torrential rain wreaked havoc on the shop. As the weather warnings mounted we thought about making the little deli sea-worthy, however considering its inland location we decided to concentrate our resources on keeping Mr Christian's firmly moored in Elgin Crescent! Now with a brand new kitchen, Mr Christian's is ready to weather the storm – expect to see all your favourite deli-licious delicacies 'flooding' out.
